Because of you  I’m a coward

Wanting to live forever

To gaze into the infinite depth of your eyes

 Endlessly

Because of you

I’m hungry  To feast on your smile

 And thirst

To be drunk in your voice

Till my head is filled with notes

 Emanating from your lips

Because of you  I’m fearless

And know

 Life must be lived

In a blaze

And ferocity

 Of a thousand suns

Because of you

 I’m alive

Since I know

 Life does not start

or end

With me

{Have no fear. Be a coward.}
