you & me

Listening to Your Being.

With all the holiday noises, or just the regular city hustle and bustle, or the number of acquaintances you make in a day that you have lost count, it is pretty difficult to listen to that voice that is you.

I myself am an action person, and it takes much meditation on my part to let the universe flow through me. Often, it can be hard to tell apart the voice of a friend that comes with a concerned face and a loving touch from the inner voice that feels relieved and happy at the otherwise tragic circumstances:

A woman with a child once lost their home to a flash flood that carried her wooden house into the ocean in bits and pieces. So many neighbors were concerned and immediately a community rushed to help them relocate somewhere safer. The woman was very much relieved in fact because that old home was where sad memories have taken their hold on her and her view of the world for so long, she had forgotten the world now given her — owning nothing — a strange concept. For now nothing owns her as well.

Everything that happens to you can only occur in a dialog with the self. Actions or events, no matter the source and intent, will never harm you if you are decided on how it will move you. Death, disease, poverty, loss — do not all translate into grief, hopelessness, or desolation, if you have faith.

You can find all the emotions you need on how it should affect you. When you agree with yourself that a miracle will happen, it will. In you, a being made up of the elements that form the stardust, is the energy to make things happen, things that will flow through you.  This phenomenon is not very well studied in formal schools because historically, our knowledge of the physical world has affirmed only quantitative physical causality, that negates much of the non-physical space that scientists cannot measure — the dark matter, that we know as the space between the bodies in space. This nothing has features and emits energy and expands our universe. We are filled with this energy as much as we are filled by the stardust that we know. We are creators as we are created by what we create.

There is no dancer without a dance, no dance without a dancer.

In a dialog with myself, I am my lover and my beloved. I cradle the questions and answer them. I Am. I Am. I Am is the joy that’s within you, the eternal voice that tells you, you are loved, and you can graciously receive what is always being given you. It is one that is soothing, one that gives peace to others, one that is unafraid of being, one with no need for regrets or excuses, one that is love.

Love is not love if it is overpowering. Love needs permission. Love is only cradled within the context of freedom. Love is a choice. Love is the choice.

We not only see things as we are, we also move things as we are. The connection is very difficult to explain or how it is, but you probably notice how when a certain magnetic or enigmatic person enters the room, the room changes its axis, the focus of topics and the energy has so shifted that it affects everyone — their manners, conversation, and their view of the world.

Being always come and goes forth with a force; when peace is that force, knowledge creates wisdom, association creates warm acceptance, and concern becomes love.

You will notice how people of great knowledge can impart an information without moving or inspiring others; but the same knowledge coming forth from the lips of a seer can transform lives. That force of transformation or stillness is within you. Action is not always called for, there is often more peace in stillness.

“After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.” ~ Bible 1 Kings 19

Every information spoken to you comes with an emotion. That emotion can be filtered, so can the messenger and you can also filter your reaction or the movement of your mind, spirit and body. Everything in the universe is an inter-action and a re-action. We are pivotal at every point of this web of interconnections. How each one can change the course of history depends very much on the stillness that is within. For that stillness bears with it more things and can hold more thoughts than the mind can. And wisdom ensues from it.

“Life is just a chance to grow a soul.” ~ A. Powell Davies

Being is letting. Listening to your being is letting your being. Be counseled by your being, be comforted by your being. Your being is older and wiser than your mind, a new construction, a storage of conclusions from its own context. Your being is timeless.

Listen. I Am.
