By Michelle Collier.

My heart
wants to break
in the most
beautiful way.

To know
the delicate ache
of having you near.

To listen for
and to hear
your silences.

To feel
your presence
in stillness.

The quiet calling
my soul feels
drawn to
the falling
into you
and the melting
and melding,
the softly letting go
as my heart
beautifully breaks.

Michele CollierMichele Collier is a longtime writer, mostly poetry, and longtime teacher and student of yoga. She learned many years ago how to express her true nature and deepest, sometimes darkest, emotions through poetry. She began studying yoga in the sixties, began teaching yoga in the eighties, and has never stopped being a beginning yoga student. Michele has a children’s book being illustrated at this time which she hopes to have published this year. She lives in the mountains of Southern California right now. She has lived in four states and many towns and cities, and is now waiting to see where her gypsy winds will take her next.
