Journey deeper toward self-love.

“The only real conflict you will ever have in your life won’t be with others but with yourself.” ~ Shannon L. Alder

The wonders within that mystic death are needed from time to time to release the conflicts and internal assaults on the self. Acceptance of the fault and vulnerabilities that make us whole and holy, human qualities are good to have on this journey.

You find self-love through understanding yourself.

Self-Love are those moments of quietude, laughter (with others or at yourself), enjoyment of the moment, being able to say “no” without worry or thinking badly of yourself…  A smile is self-love as it shows your heart shining on your face. Looking to the stars is self-love and saying thank you to the self reflections above; for all the experiences in your life — the good, the bad and the ugly. You made it through.

What are your thoughts of self-love?

Self-love is self-expression and creation. Some say we must suffer and hurt to learn self-love. Hurt is the illusion of not knowing or understanding love’s embrace, yet it is that very love that may cause the hurt. Living is finding the balance within each moment. One can find that paradox through the gratitude of living.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” ~ Melody Beattle

Though we know Love… without suffering, it is the conditioning of the mind… not the heart. We understand the concepts of love as a child with that innocence of trusting and living freely in play. Now through society we are brainwashed away from this truth… sometimes we regain it. Suffering is not necessary… it is an option most take to be reborn to that innocence we are born with.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”  ~ Kahlil Gibran

You speak of the mirroring effect of those around us… showing moments of true reflection of self in that moment. I agree… through the darkness we find the light. And I feel that through those moments, my connection deepens to my true inner strength; those moments of truest love for myself. I dealt with that inner voice debating with the ego out of balance with the whole…

Moments of realigning myself time and time again, through that deeper understanding. I am also saying is… that is our free will and choices in life… to find that truth through the suffering. That truth and wisdom is always available.

“It is when you lose sight of yourself, that you lose your way. To keep your truth in sight you must keep yourself in sight and the world to you should be a mirror to reflect to you your image; the world should be a mirror that you reflect upon.” ~ C. Joybell C

Self acceptance and allowing one self to find the path of Self-Love varies from person to person — we are here for a human experience.

Love and self-love are the center of this journey and all there really is… in truth.

Insight filled thank you. My journey of authentic self love turns to suffering when I deny Truth and IT’s simplicity! After what seemed a LONG time and “perceived” deaths… my Inner Teacher came through and held me during those vulnerable and maddening moments. I’ve had to be “humble” enough to “listen” and “receive” Divine Guidance. I have learned that only thru the portal of Humility can I actually become teachable.
