“If you begin to understand what you are
without trying to change it,
what you are undergoes a transformation.”
J. Krishnamurti

What’s your storyline?

How is the quality of your life experience affected by your storyline? (How is your breath, your nervous system and your lens affected by your storyline?) How is the life around you affected by your storyline?

The storyline. The storyline. The storyline.

Who do you blame for your storyline? How does your body hold your storyline? How does the expression of your face project your storyline? How is the weight of your step, the sound of your voice, your ability to love, trust, forgive, expand, grow heal and nourish yourself affected by your storyline?

The storyline. The storyline. The storyline.

How will your death be affected by your storyline?

** Bam **

Are you able to see yourself clearly? Are you aware of your vibe, the energy you project out into the world? Are you aware of your body language? Can you feel the expression on your face?

Can you imagine that from now on, everything you do has a mirror attached to it reflecting back to you, you in every situation.

How willing and open are you to seeing who and what you really are? Are your eyes open or closed? Squinted? This mirror…it’s attached to colleagues, family members, friends, your dog, your lover, all inanimate objects you come across, nature and well, absolutely everything. So, are you able to see clearly? Are you hiding from  your own reflection? What parts are you willing to see? And, what pieces are you denying?

** Bam **

How does your storyline affect you when effort is being asked of you? Say the effort of driving your car? Riding your bike…of listening…of using your thigh muscles…of practicing yoga postures…of connecting with nature…of making love…of helping someone in need…of making dinner…of feeding yourself…of defining your self-worth?

Of…of…of…

Well, where are we going with all of this? We’re heading toward the aspects of your life, your perceptions, values and beliefs where you could use a little adjusting or, letting go of. Yes, letting go of.

Are you ready, are you set, to let go of…

#1 The past. Gently allow the past to be released from the muscles, the joints, the cells of the body. Release tension of the traumatic, dramatic and intensely emotional past. In other words, drop the baggage, for good. Leave no imprint, not even a trace by giving permission to the body to let-it-go. Note: this exercise of self-love may take more than one attempt — keep going, keep releasing.

#2 The future. Let go of the unpredictable, unforeseen worries, if-onlys and what ifs of the non-existent future.

#3 Attachments to calendars, schedules and to-do lists. Let go of rushing around chanting what you have to do over and over again, or trying to relax by incessantly thinking of your to-do list. Spend less time stressing about what has to be done and focus on the most productive doing possible. Focus on one thing at a time and do it until it’s done. Give the task at hand all of your heart with all your focus. Make every effort focused, sincere and the best use of your time.

“The first requisite for success is the ability to apply your physical and mental energies to one problem incessantly without growing weary.” – Thomas A. Edison

#4 External approval. Know that you have everything you need to be who and what you are right now without anyone giving you the green light.

#5 Anger and resentment. Accept the unsent apology — today. Could it also be time to send some?

#6 Regret. Do now. You’re still here. Do now. Take action with integrity and responsibility. Do now.

You are the creator. Pray for and focus on vision and clarity.

#7 Superficial shape chasing. Accept the body you’re in right now. Not yesterday, not 10 years ago, the body you have in this very moment. It is the greatest, most important instrument you have to experience this life. Love it and use it in every you-supporting way possible.

#8 Perfection. Instead of striving for perfection, go beyond the surface value of everything, including the skin, and seek a deep, mind-blowing connection. And, how can you become perfection when you already are perfection?

#9 Excuses. Forget them. Know what you are saying, feeling and doing when you make an excuse. Be honest with yourself. Invite in more integrity. Although our resistance is creative, it’s also futile.

“If you bring forth what is inside you, what you bring forth will save you. If you don’t bring forth what is inside you, what you don’t bring forth will destroy you.” – Jesus

#10 Unnecessary stress and tension — in all it’s forms. Allow yourself to feel the body as mindfully as you can. Learn to release tension from the body and the mind will follow. Make this a daily moment-by-moment practice of self-love.

#11 Regimes and schemes. Forget rigidity — invite openness, new methods and techniques into the discovery of your creative expression. Do this continually. Let the river flow versus seeking the same answers from water that has become stagnant. Remember, you are only in the box that you put yourself into.

#12 Rewards and punishments plans. Up and down, up and down and in a circle we go and go and go. Learn to nourish yourself continuously versus creating and limiting yourself to cyclical behavior that tends to lead you back to square one over and over again.

Good habits are hard to develop but easy to live with and Bad habits are easy to develop but hard to live with” – Brian Tracy

#13 Your ex. Friendship, lover or family member…dwelling causes suffering. Forgive and let go by creating healthy boundaries that are best for you. Reconnect with who you are outside of the relationship that may no longer exist. Embrace impermanence.

#14 Expectations. Invite patience and common sense into your life. Use your intuition more often and let go of the critical constraints that hold you back. Set intentions, but release attachments to expectations and outcomes. Set yourself free with a sincere open-mind and by all means, treat others like you’d like to be treated, seen, heard and loved.

#15 Jealousy. Learn to be happy for the success of others and allow yourself to tap into and see your own authentic greatness. This can unlock and unblock many doors toward the success of you.

“Why compare yourself with others? No one in the entire world can do a better job of being you than you.”  – Unknown

#16 Negativity. Refuse to complain, judge and criticize others. Stop bashing and you’ve heard it before: be the change. Positivity equals more energy and a stronger immune system. Make this a conditioned response.

#17 Incessant unrealistic fantasies. You are your thoughts, right? So, are you really in a relationship with that hot babe from Hollywood? Chances are, no. Step out of the creative distraction of the fantastical mind matrix and experience more time within and creating your reality.

#18 Your smartphone. Seriously.

“The amount of happiness that you have depends on the amount of freedom you have in your heart.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

#19 Energy vamps. Be careful about misusing your time with people or situations that don’t serve your highest purpose. It may not always be possible, but value the allocation of your time wiselythis present moment is precious. Use it and spend it mindfully.

#20 Blame. Take personal responsibility of your life, your actions. Refuse to blame others for what’s not happening in your life. Be response-able — be a creator, not a victim.

#21 Your storyline. Allow yourself to receive yourself. Allow yourself to act, build, expand and exist within the freedom of the present moment without any excuse, blame or narration. If your current habits aren’t working, it’s time to inquire within.

“To have more, you must first be more. To achieve more in your outer world, you must to go work on your inner world.” – Wolfgang von Goethe

You have what it takes.

(Thank you for being here. We love you so much.)
