Solstice Revisited {poetry}

wp-content-uploads-2014-09-moonlighthula

Come around again

      Spin through space and time

Revolutions gaining

     Age evolving Rhyme.

Solstice on the dark side

     Rings around the moon

Balance is eluding

     Always seems too soon.

Try to find the fulcrum

     ever-pressing night

Running in the shadows

     Hiding from the light.

Lyrical ellipses…

     waiting for your face

Look ahead to Spring

     with patience and with grace.

Spring returning lithely

     Night begins to wane

Another orbit moving

     Nothing stays the same.
