All you actually need to have to do that dreaded Thing is a few seconds of stubbornness, enough stubbornness to try, to make a little teeny tiny small and smelly promise to yourself that you will try, that you're open to it not working and looking stupid and feeling small.

So maybe I don't want to forget you. Maybe I'm secretly still looking for you. Hoping desperately to find you in a place you wouldn't (couldn't) even know to hide. It's likely that I'll continue to torture myself with this game forever.
You don't need to change jealousy, and I wouldn't suggest trying. That will only make her defensive. She craves, though she might not always see it, to go deeper inside her own darkness. Every jealous thought is an invitation to explore more of herself, and to ultimately love more of herself.
