Bohemian of the month: Kate Bush.
Flame-haired singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Kate Bush was born on July 30, 1958 with the Sun in the fiery sign of Leo.
Bohemian individuals always have Aquarius and/or Uranus feature strongly in their birth chart, and Kate has an Aquarian Moon, plus Uranus conjunct her Sun and square Mars. So she is a truly unique artist, with a strong need to push artistic boundaries and take creative risks. And her eclectic songs, experimental music, innovative outfits and unique video clips set new standards for musical performance from the 1970s onwards.

The song that shot her to fame — and showcased her idiosyncratic style — was Wuthering Heights. It was based on the novel by Emily Bronte, who was actually born on the same day as Kate (but in 1818). True kindred spirits!
I’d say Kate has a strong interest in astrology, as her second album was called Lionheart (she appeared on the cover dressed as a lion) and the sign Leo is symbolized by the lion, and rules the heart. Leo is also the sign that represents performance, self-expression and creative inspiration.

Aries (March 21-April 20)
Your energy levels get a welcome boost in August when the New Moon lights up Leo, and then Mars shifts into Sagittarius (which are both fellow fire signs). So it’s the perfect month to be motivated, challenged, inspired, creative and super social.
Many Rams will also feel mighty feisty, and in the mood to fight back. Taurus (April 21-May 21)
Life and love become super intense from August 2 onwards, when mighty Mars (planet of passion and purpose) moves into your intimacy/jealousy zone. While you’ll be at your smoldering sensual best, you’ll also find that the more possessive and stubborn you are, the more difficult the month will be. The Full Moon (on August 18) lights up your Brilliant Career zone.

Gemini (May 22-June 21)
This month, the buzzword is communication! And with Mercury moving through your domestic zone, it’s time to get talking with loved ones and sort out any problems before Mercury goes retrograde on August 30.

Cancer (June 22-July 23)
Have you been talking about paying off debt or saving for something special — like a car, holiday or home deposit? This month (with the fiery New Moon stimulating your cash zone) you need to put your money where your mouth is and take action. A work situation (or professional relationship) is likely to veer off in a totally unexpected direction, so keep your adaptability muscles well-flexed (and try to relax).
Do your best to avoid being a super snappy Crab around August 18, when the Full Moon magnifies your mood swings and heightens your emotional sensitivity.
Leo (July 24-Aug 23)
Expect a fabulously frantic month, as the Sun, Moon and Venus all visit your sign, and Mars moves into your entertainment zone. So smile brightly, flutter your eyelashes (or flex your pecs) and go after what (or who) you want in the most charming way. You’re also in the mood for lashings of Leo extravagance and overindulgence. As Mae West famously declared, “Too much of a good thing can be wonderful.”

Virgo (Aug 24-Sep 23)
