I was inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist ritual of creating sand mandalas and then destroying them, representing creation, destruction, and above all, impermanence.
We hold the key because misery is our fear: our fear of the unknown, our fear of failing, our fear of being hurt, our fear of being ourselves, our fear of not being accepted, our fear of not being good enough.
The tall poppy syndrome, especially as it pertains to speaking, is not proprietary to Australia. It is universal. Every society and each culture has sought to regulate speaking with bribes and intimidation. The antidote? Confidence.
