Everyone Is an Empath.
Everyone is an empath. Some of us have just forgotten.
This truth tapped my meditative shoulder yesterday. That’s the way downloads happen for me. When I’m truly in the present moment, with my crown chakra open, Source whispers in my ear.
This download, specifically, has transmitted more than once. The message wants to be spoken and heard. Perhaps as a reminder to those of us who are awake, to bring along those who are not yet. For, at the core of our beings, on the most basic cellular level, we are all connected. Our vessels speak with one another. Meaning, we are all empaths.
As humans, we all have magical gifts of empathy. We can sense a person’s mood non-verbally, for example, because emotions carry energetic vibrations. And for those of us who are highly sensitive, the magic encompasses more than moods.
For me, specifically, I experience the energies of the folks in my immediate field, the collective consciousness, and the Earth’s shifts almost daily. I can feel an earthquake days out. And many transits in the astral dimensions affect me deeply. Whether it’s a full or new moon, the likelihood is that I will lose some sleep around the event. It can feel like the moon gave me a dose of espresso right around bedtime.
Part of my being an awakened empath, I believe, is to normalize the conversation about earth-body connections. And to subtly remind others who they are, in the process. For example, I’ve started to negotiate my work schedule around my physical full moon reality.
There are no moon days in the sick or vacation calendar, so where possible, I create the space with an employer. Sometimes I request the day off, other times I specifically express the reason why.
The effect is two-fold. It is absolute self-care to honor our vessels and our experience of the three-dimension earth by taking the time we need on the calendar to sleep and nurture our bodies. Also, by having the direct conversation, we can further chip away at the patriarchal armor that created societal conceptions of the calendar.
Many have forgotten that we are part of the earth and her seasons too. So, for those of us who do remember, perhaps we can shed some light expanding consciousness.
After all, we are all energetic players on this earth plane. We are one. Unity consciousness wins. It’s the idea of neighbor versus neighbor that has gotten us into some of this human-mind-created despair.
For those of us awake and aware, we get to hold the space for our fellows who aren’t there yet. They may be on transit to remembering our unity and inherent empathic connections, but perhaps they’ve not yet considered the ways of energy or feel the idea is too woo-woo.
Whatever the reason, everyone is exactly where they are supposed to be when they are meant to be there. It is not our job to save anyone or anything, rather just to be who we are, and to shine as brightly as we can.
To shine, first we get to remember who we are. Then we get to continually remember who we all are collectively. And from the power of all, our capacity to carry the energetic frequency of love becomes stronger, grows brighter, and paves the way for everyone. Because, in reality, we are all divine beings capable of feeling on a very deep level. We are all empaths. We are one love.
